Required Paperwork: Due before first class

• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Copy of Social Security Card, Passport, or Report Card with Social
• Recent photo (no hat or sunglasses, no computer printout, photocopy, or ID card)
• Signed Parental consent form
• Valid Georgia State Learner's Permit

Cancellation Policy

All road lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance by contacting our office during regular business hours. Failure to do this will result in a penalty fee of $25.00 per hour missed to compensate your instructor for his time.

Scheduling Road Lessons

 As soon as the student has obtained their Georgia State Learner’s Permit and paid the tuition in full, they must call our office at (770) 654-5399 to schedule on road lessons. We require our students (or parents) to take the responsibility to schedule the on road portion of the driver’s education course. Students must complete the classroom and behind the whell training within 6 months of the date they start class. This is a State Requirement.

On road instruction can be scheduled 8 to 10 weeks in advance if needed.

 At the time of scheduling, please make sure to note the following:

• Time
• Location
• Instructors Name

 Students wishing to cancel or reschedule an on road driving lesson are required to contact our office at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the $25.00 per hour rescheduling fee . This policy is strictly enforced and there are No exceptions. Emergency cancellations will be reviewed and considered on an individual basis.

Students will need to request their certificate of completion at least 14 days prior to taking the Department of Motor Vehicles license exam.

Lost or duplicate certificates can be provided for a fee of $15.00. Please secure the original to avoid the additional fee.

Weather Cancellation Policy

Our weather-related cancellation policy has been established to ensure the safety of our students, instructors, and the general public.

We cancel classroom sessions separately from on road instruction. On road driving lessons are cancelled on an individual basis by a telephone counselor at the North Georgia Driving Academy. Should a student have any question regarding a weather related cancellation please call our office directly at (770) 654-5399.

 North Georgia Driving Academy reserves the right to cancel any and all lessons due to inclement weather or emergency conditions.
